Continuing my tradition of holiday greetings, let me wish my Jewish readers greetings on the week-long feast of
Sukkot, which has just begun. Christian readers may be familiar with this pilgrimage festival from New Testament references to a Feast of Booths or Feast or Tabernacles. While commemorating the wanderings in the desert, it also has many elements of a traditional harvest festival.
