Based on what my wife told me about conversations among UAE women, these ideas have been there for two decades, at least. Finally, as a result of the combined effects of higher education for a large majority of UAE young women, modern information technology and the relative tolerance of free expression by the Abu Dhabi authorities, the male public is finally getting a more concrete idea of the UAE feminine mind.
