In case you were worried,
Stars and Stripes is reporting that incoming Afghan Commander Gen. David
Petraeus might reopen the Burger King, Pizza Hut, and other American fast food franchises closed recently in Kandahar by Gen. Stanley McChrystal, before his
Rolling Stone implosion. It's not a done deal, though.
But he's unlikely to ease the restriction on alcohol. Altogether, a good compromise.
