Mottaki Fired as Foreign Minister

Iran has suddenly sacked Manouchehr Mottaki as Foreign Minister, and replaced him with ‘Ali Akbar Salehi, head of the nuclear program.

This is obviously a major development, but I'm going to await further details before speculating on what it means.
