Syrian Government Behind Spamming Opposition Twitter Accounts?

 Apparently a lot of spam tweets are clogging Syrian hashtags on Twitter, presumably a regime or pro-regime attempt to overwhelm opposition organizers. Detailed articles here and here offer many examples.
