This is Strange Even For Qadhafi

There are Israeli reports that a delegation of senior Libyans from the Qadhafi government secretly visited Israel and met with Opposition leader Tzipi Livni and perhaps others.

All I know is what's in the report.  Is Qadhafi really looking for Israeli support? Or is something else going on here? Or is he just being Qadhafi?

    All too plausible. Qadhafi has been reaching out to Libyan Jewish diaspora leaders for many years now. He shares with many other Arabs an inflated notion of how contacts with Jewish personalities could change Western perceptions of his leadership. Note to Mike: Your blog items says "Libya" where you meant to say "Israel"

    We call it reverse Antisemitism.
    He truely belives that the Jews control America and the world.
    So, why not use them?
