The great-granddaddy of European Orientalist scholarly journals, the
Zeitschrift der Deutschen Morgenländischen Gesellschaft, or ZDMG to its friends,
is now available online from the University of Halle, free and open source, from Volume I in 1847 (!) up to 2005. This will mean little to the vast majority of my readers, but to an old medieval Islamicist like myself it's great to know. Back in 1847 it wasn't scholarship if it wasn't in German, but in the 20th century a fair number of articles in English and French start to be included as well.
