Is this the Story of the Hit on ‘Imad Mughniyya?

In Britain's weekly Independent, a story by Gordon Thomas, who has previously written a book on Mossad, claiming to detail the 2008 hit against Hizbullah operative ‘Imad Mughniyya.

Is this how it happened? Is Mossad perhaps leaking details of a successful hit to deflect the Keystone Kops elements and bad publicity of the Dubai operation (if indeed they did that)?

I have no idea, but read it anyway. Even if it's disinformation, the timing of the leak means something.
