have done my best to remind people of Egypt's largely forgotten first President, Muhammad Naguib. He spent much of his life as a nonperson, only emerging in ailing old age under Mubarak,who attended his funeral. On the Cairo Metro, Nasser, Sadat, and the former Mubarak (now Martyrs') Stations were major hubs on the first line; Naguib eventually got a local stop on the second line.
