"Russia Today" Mocks Egyptian Rendition of National Anthem

I don't generally like citing Russia Today,  which is generally propaganda, but Vladimir Putin is on an official visit to Egypt, so it's relevant. Their anchor clearly disapproved of the Egyptian rendition of Russia's national anthem, and rather snarkily so:

Now to be fair, the Egyptian version at least was recognizable, if not as stirring as massed troops in Red Square singing it, and at least they got the right anthem, unlike the time a Kuwaiti band welcomed a Kazakh team by playing the fake Kazakh anthem from Borat.

Hey, playing together  is hard.
