Will He or Won't He?

Now there are reports claiming Mubarak won't step down. I guess we have to wait and hear it directly from the horse's, uh, mouth.

The question is who or what next? As Omar Suleiman told the opposition representatives, "you will get a coup." I've been listening to the Arabic broadcasts, and it classic coup situation, including "Proclamation # 1 from The Supreme Council of the Armed Forces providing assurance that the armed forces will be protecting the people." So, for now, the revolution looks more and more like a coup d'etat, as is pretty clearly the case in Tunisia as well.
