Disneyland Egypt? Egypt Says it's Talking; Disney Says No

Last week Egypt's Middle East News Agency (MENA, the official state news agency) quoted Egypt's Investment Minister as saying  "there are  discussions going on" with Disney about building a theme park in Egypt.

The story was widely reported since Egypt's tourism sector has been in decline. The story was widely reported, since Egypt's once-crucial tourism sector has been in a downward spiral since the 2011 Revolution, but unfortunately, Disney released a statement that, while calling Egypt "an attractive market," said "we have no plans for the region at this time."
