Turkish Artillery Fires into Syria

After Syrian shells hit the Turkish border town of Akcakale, killing five people, Turkey has fired shells at Syrian targets inside Syria, as it had warned it would do after a previous instance of Syrian shells hitting inside Turkish territory. NATO plans to meet on the matter. With the escalating violence in Aleppo and growing calls for a no-fly zone, the border tensions and growing Turkish anger are likely to intensify.
