Egypt: Ruling Party Welcomes Coptic Candidate: Say Sign of Freedom. Well, of course they welcome him. The NDP is going to win anyway, so he's a useful symbol of tolerance, democracy, diversity, and other Good Things. (More on Coptic candidate Mamduh Ramzy here.)
Now, the real dog-bites-man headline will be when we see "Ruling Party Welcomes Muslim Brotherhood Candidate." Be sure to let me know when that happens.
