Al-Ahram Weekly on New Sheikh al-Azhar

For reasons you can probably figure out for yourselves, Al-Ahram's weekly English-language edition is often a lot less sycophantic than the Arabic daily. In fact, it can almost seem like an objective paper at times. Here's a recent piece on the new Sheikh al-Azhar which is a lot less one-sided than those in the official press generally (though it won't be mistaken for hostile).
