UAE Student Filmmakers on National Taboos

Interesting, though I'd like to see the video: "Student Filmmakers Lift Lid on Taboos of National Life."

Unseen, it at least sounds daring for the Gulf.

Based on what my wife told me about conversations among UAE women, these ideas have been there for two decades, at least. Finally, as a result of the combined effects of higher education for a large majority of UAE young women, modern information technology and the relative tolerance of free expression by the Abu Dhabi authorities, the male public is finally getting a more concrete idea of the UAE feminine mind. Jane Austen wound be proud of them!
