There's a new MEI Viewpoints collection up on "The Islamization of Pakistan, 1979-2009," with contributions from 18 authors. It's the latest in a series of publications on 30 years since the many major regional developments of 1979. The link page is here and the full document in PDF is here. (Or you can just click the graphic of the cover page on the left.)Meanwhile MEI's new Center for Pakistan Studies is gearing up for major activities, including an online forum to launch in a few weeks and a series of events.
