- In my post the other day on the settlements controversy, I mentioned our neighbors at the Foundation for Middle East Peace. They now have a new film with recommendations by Jimmy Carter, James A. Baker, Brent Scowcroft and Zbigniew Brzezinski. Information about the DVD here; and a version is also available on YouTube here.
- Recent Podcasts from MEI: Mariam Mamarsadeghi and Akbar Atri on "The Iranian Elections and the Struggle for Change"; Howard Schneider on "President Obama's Trip to Cairo and Middle East Initiative". As usual, the podcasts play when you click on the link.
- From WINEP: Simon Henderson on "Iran's Nuclear Program: Lessons from Pakistan".
- Americans for Peace Now has unveiled a new website.
- The Center for the Study of Islam and Democracy has a new Bulletin up.
- The Search for Common Ground has a new edition of their Middle East news service up.
- Finally, I have not had time to read the 2009 Arab Human Development Report, which has been generating some controversy. So I refer you to Marc Lynch's blog post on the subject or his longer analysis in the UAE's The National. As for the report itself, you can access it online or download the PDF through this website for the English report or this one for the Arabic.
