Lots of uncertainty right now. The constitution says the Speaker of Parliament should be in charge in the President's absence but the Prime Minister stepped up instead. The Army may be calling the shots, but revolutions don't stop on a dime. After Ben Ali's concessions of last night, things went very sour today, with huge crowds outside the Interior Ministry on Avenue Bourguiba, reports of bloodshed in Tunis, etc. The President's departure probably isn't the end of the process.
