There are reports that the plane carrying Ben Ali headed to France but did not land, possibly because the French declined to receive him. It's now said to be heading for the Middle East. A man without a country?
Some are joking online that France told him they were over quota on Tunisian immigrants.
Update: Refueled in Sardinia. No one left the plane. Still looking for a refuge.
Update II: Al Jazeera is reporting he's in Jidda.
