Marc Lynch on Last Friday in Tahrir
Marc Lynch was fortunate enough to be in Tahrir Square for the big Islamist-dominated demonstrations last Friday, and he offers us some cogent reflections over at his Foreign Policy site.

Thanks for circulating this. When Marc gets out of Washington and gets on the ground he sheds his policy driven analysis and proves he is a first class reporter. Aside from Tony Shadid and a few others, most of the American media have let their enthusiasm for the Arab Spring make them think that the people who are like us and speak good English really represent the Arab Street.
