Reconciliation Rather than Revenge in Tunisia

 At a time when Egypt is arresting more and more members of the former regime, there has been an interesting glimmer of reconciliation in Tunisia: in Sidi Bouzid, where the Arab Spring began in the depths of
December, the mother of Mohamed Bouazizi, who sparked it all with his suicide, has declined to prosecute the police officer charged with slapping him while seizing his market cart. As a result, charges have been dropped.
